There are three things about ETFs that worry

1. Tracking back-tested indexes.
2. Actively-managed ETFs, which described as "an oxymoron."
3. Future regulation.
Brennan, who oversaw Vanguard's entry into the sector during his 12-year stint as the company's chief executive, made these comments during keynote speech at the IndexUniverse LLC's Inside ETFs Conference on Monday, according to
InvestmentNews.
In short, the explosive growth of these products doesn't come without risk, he said.
