For mutual fund marketers, Karen Blumenthal's Getting Going
column over the weekend is worth a look. Titled "Girls Just Want to Have Funds," the article delved into differences between men and woman when it comes to investing, citing survey findings.
The findings of a recent survey by Mintel Group is of particular interest to fundsters. The survey found that men were :more likely to invest in stocks, exchange traded funds, futures and options, while women were more likely to invest in mutual funds," Blumenthal writes.
Mintel polled a total of 2,000 adults for the survey.
