Eric Lansky has been hired by the
Reserve Funds, a 23 fund family with $5.8 billion in assets managed, as its new marketing director.
Prior to joining Reserve, Lansky had been vice-president of marketing at the
Battery Park Funds, a small New York fund family owned by
Nomura Securities.
Lansky will be primarily responsible for growing the funds' presence in the retail and financial intermediary channels.
"We're well-known for our money market funds (Reserve president
Bruce Bent created the first money market funds 25 years ago) -- I want to help continue to build that brand awareness for both the money market funds and the Reserve Private Equity Series," said Lansky.
