Dirk Goergen, global head of
DWS' [

confirms that
JJ Wilczewski has been promoted to head of client coverage in the Americas and global head of institutional clients and consultants. Wilczewski will now serve on both two DWS leadership councils: one for the Americas and one for the global organization.
News of Wilczewski's elevation comes after DWS' COO, Mark Cullen, took
took over earlier this summer as head of the Americas.
Wilczewski puts his promotion in the context of a broader effort involving "creating clear ownership of client segments while aligning collaboration globally." Goergen, for his part, lauds Wilczewski for "his strategic thinking, fresh ideas, and client-first perspective" and "deep, longstanding experience working with institutional clients in the U.S.
"We look forward to taking his collaborative, results driven approach to our clients around the globe," Goergen states. "In addition, he will have an important role in ensuring that we are globally and regionally aligned across client segments."
An alumnus of Illinois Wesleyan University, Wilczewski joined DWS in 2014. Prior to that he worked with Aon, Wilshire, and Van Kampen.
