Monday, August 24, 2020 An Insti Chief Takes Over a Multinational's Americas Client Coverage A veteran institutional leader is taking over client coverage on this side of the pond for a publicly traded, multinational asset manager with $772 billion in worldwide AUM (as of June 30).
Wilczewski will now serve on both two DWS leadership councils: one for the Americas and one for the global organization. News of Wilczewski's elevation comes after DWS' COO, Mark Cullen, took took over earlier this summer as head of the Americas. Wilczewski puts his promotion in the context of a broader effort involving "creating clear ownership of client segments while aligning collaboration globally." Goergen, for his part, lauds Wilczewski for "his strategic thinking, fresh ideas, and client-first perspective" and "deep, longstanding experience working with institutional clients in the U.S. "We look forward to taking his collaborative, results driven approach to our clients around the globe," Goergen states. "In addition, he will have an important role in ensuring that we are globally and regionally aligned across client segments." An alumnus of Illinois Wesleyan University, Wilczewski joined DWS in 2014. Prior to that he worked with Aon, Wilshire, and Van Kampen.
