Deutsche Asset Management
(DAM) is beefing up its institutional sales team focusing on the public plan market. James McPartland
, Joel Whidden
and Robert McGowan
have all signed on.
All are based in New York and will report to Rich Goldman
, head of institutional sales for DAM.
"These additions signal a commitment to our continued focus to the the public fund and Taft-Hartley markets," said Goldman in a statement.
McPartland will head sales of public funds and Taft-Hartley plans. He was previously director of international sales for Batterymarch Financial Management
. Whidden will be in charge of public fund sales for the Midwest. He joins DAM from Sanford C. Bernstein & Co
., where he was co-director of public fund sales. Lastly, McGowan will become vice president of sales and client services for the Taft-Hartley market. Prior to joining DAM, he was vice president of finance and operations at CareMatrix
