as the firm's first ever cfo, a spokesperson told the 401kWire.com. Demarest previously served with Montgomery Asset Management
as chief administrative officer.
Demarest also has experience working at The Copeland Companies
and Wells Fargo Bank
, where he had been cfo for the private banking group.

He was referring to the recent hiring of Dennis Chookaszian
Does this move mean that mPower will be going public in the foreseeable future? Officials at the firm aren't saying, but industry watchers know that the hiring of a cfo is a portent that that may very well be happening.
