The boards of about 90
Van Kampen funds have greenlighted merger and liquidation proposals in connection with
Invesco's purchase of Morgan Stanley's retail asset management business,
Morningstar reports. The deal is expected to close in the middle of the year.
Should the funds' shareholders approve the proposals,
61 funds will have the same Morgan Stanley portfolio management teams and 26 other funds will have new managers from Invesco.
