Friday, January 15, 2010 Van Kampen Fund Board OKs Proposed Changes to the Product Roster The boards of about 90 Van Kampen funds have greenlighted merger and liquidation proposals in connection with Invesco's purchase of Morgan Stanley's retail asset management business, Morningstar reports. The deal is expected to close in the middle of the year. Should the funds' shareholders approve the proposals, 61 funds will have the same Morgan Stanley portfolio management teams and 26 other funds will have new managers from Invesco.
