Putnam Investments veteran
Ned Shadek left the Boston fund firm last week, Putnam spokeswoman Laura McNamara confirmed to
The MFWire. Shadek served as
head of small- and mid-cap equities, and was a co-manager of the $178 million
Putnam Small Cap Value
fund.
The small- and mid-cap equities teams now report directly to chief investment officer
Walter Donovan, McNamara said.
Shadek's co-manager at the small cap value fund,
Eric Harthun, will continue to run the fund.
Shadek joined Putnam in 1997.
