Janus Capital Group has finalized the purchase of an additional 3 percent stake in its
Intech subsidiary for $25 million. It now owns about 92 percent of Intech.
The purchase is "pursuant to contractual obligations with the INTECH founders," Janus executives said in a news release Friday.
Meanwhile, Janus shareholders have elected five directors to three-year
terms on the firm's board: Steven Scheid, Timothy Armour, Richard Fredericks,
Lawrence Kochard and Landon Rowland.
