Friday, May 1, 2009 Janus Finalizes a $25 Million Deal Janus Capital Group has finalized the purchase of an additional 3 percent stake in its Intech subsidiary for $25 million. It now owns about 92 percent of Intech. The purchase is "pursuant to contractual obligations with the INTECH founders," Janus executives said in a news release Friday. Meanwhile, Janus shareholders have elected five directors to three-year terms on the firm's board: Steven Scheid, Timothy Armour, Richard Fredericks, Lawrence Kochard and Landon Rowland.
