The Boston Globe muses on what the Ned Johnson-Rodger Lawson tandem will mean for Fidelity. Calling the two Fidelity's "new odd couple," Kerber
painted Lawson as a flashy Brit contrasted with Johnson's stoic New England attitude. According to the report, after Lawson left Fidelity 16 years ago, he never had a bad word to say about the company, demonstrating Johnson's favorite trait: loyalty. In Kerber's mind, Lawson is now the nearest successor to Johnson, with Ned's daughter Abby's future role in the company still up in the air.
