In 2007, former Royce Funds analyst William Davlin founded Davlin Fund Advisors as a vehicle for charitable giving. The fund's investment advisors is a non-profit that designates a portion of the advisory fees as donations to charities, with input from the funds' shareholders.
The Davlin Philanthropic Fund opened in July of 2008. It is scheduled to shut down on September 30, 2016.
