In September 2009, AIG inked a deal to sell AIG Global Investment Corp. to Bridge Partners L.P., for $500 million. Bridge Partner is owned by Hong Kong-based Pacific Century Group. AIG Global Investent Corp. was renamed PineBridge Investments.
The deal closed in March 2010.
The AIG business that was sold to Bridge Partners included Brazos Capital Management, investment adviser to the Brazos Mutual Funds. The funds were rebranded PineBridge Mutual Funds in January 2010.
