On November 6, 2018, USAA publicly agreed to sell USAA Asset Management Company to Victory Capital Holdings for $850 million up front (plus an opportunity for contingency payments). The deal is expected to close in Q2 2019, and USAA Asset Management would become Victory's 11th investment franchise.
USAA Funds are sponsored by USAA and are a family of no-load mutual funds.
Since September 2010, USAA's mutual funds became available on NTF platforms after the firm signed a distribution pact with E*Trade.
