Background:

Founded in 1985 as the mutual fund division of Comerica Bank. The bank sold Munder in a $302 million deal in 2006 to a investment group comprised of Crestview Partners, Munder's management and Grail Partners. Munder lifted out The Boston Company's international core and small cap investment teams in 2007.
On April 17, 2014, Victory Capital Management announced that it had entered an agreement to buy Munder in an all-cash deal with backing from Crestview Partners and Reverence Capital Partners.
