Hussman Econometric Advisors is a boutique, no-load mutual fund family that offers three diversified, strategic funds. All three funds emphasize both long-term investment returns and short-term capital protection from unfavorable market conditions.
John Hussman, a former University of Michigan professor of Economics and International Finance, launched his flagship Hussman Strategic Growth Fund in July 2000, following up with the Hussman Strategic Total Return Fund in September 2002 and the Hussman Strategic International Equity Fund in December 2009. Hussman is the president and chairman of Hussman, as well as its controlling shareholder, and he also PMs all three funds. Senior research analyst William Hester co-PMs the international fund.
