BISYS has hired Stuart Quillman to fill a newly created position as vice president of marketing for the BISYS Distribution Solutions Group.

The hire marks an expansion of the Group’s marketing division. There were three other new hires, including an additional marketing director who will work under Quillman.

Quillman will report to Bob Kennedy, senior vice president of Distribution Solutions Group.

In addition to leading marketing, Quillman will work to streamline and expand the Performance Reporting Group, which creates fact sheets and marketing materials for quarterly and annual reports. He will also be working with AmSouth Bank to build out their marketing and execution.

Kennedy said that the new hires were made to handle current and expected future business as the Group becomes "more involved in the marketing programs for our clients."

Quillman comes to BISYS from ING Funds, where he was vice president, marketing communications. He has also worked at PBHG Funds, SEI Investments and the Vanguard Group.
