J. & W. Seligman & Co. Incorporated has hired Wellington Management Company as the new sub-advisor of several of its funds.

The funds are:

Seligman International Growth Fund

The Seligman Global Growth Fund,

the Seligman Global Smaller Companies Fund and

the Seligman Emerging Markets Fund

Steve Hodgdon, president of Seligman Advisors, the distributor of the Seligman mutual funds said that the firm's decision to retain Wellington Management as a sub-advisor to the four international and global funds will enable Seligman to dedicate greater internal equity resources to various domestic asset classes and the technology sector.
