A lawyer to fundsters and fund firms is on the rise at a familiar law firm.

Yesterday,
Julie Jones, chair of
Ropes & Gray, and
David Djaha, managing partner,
revealed that
Nicole Krea will become a partner at the firm, effective November 1 (i.e. next Monday).
Krea is currently counsel in the firm's corporate department and asset management group.
Krea will be one of 24 new partners rising at the global law firm.
Now based in New York City, Krea joined Ropes as an associate back in 2011. She previously worked with Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), and she is an alumna of Suffolk University Law School and of James Madison University.
