A publicly traded U.S. asset management giant's name and ticker are changing.

On Friday, the
Federated Investors [
profile] team
revealed that on January 31 the firm's name will change to
Federated Hermes. Also on January 31, Federated's NYSE ticker will change from FII to FHI. The Federated team offered no other details but hinted that more information will be released in February.
The rebranding comes a year and a half after Pittsburgh-based Federated
bought a majority stake in a London-based asset manager,
Hermes Investment Management.
As of September 30, 2019, Federated had $527.2 billion in AUM.
