"Bill Barnes is retiring from the business," Clark tells
MFWire. "He's actually moving on to continue his work working with recently incarcerated individuals. He's opening a coffee shop."
"This is Bill Barnes 2.0," Clark adds.
As for Fudge, he will work out of Shelton's Denver, Colorado office covering the Western Territories, and will lead a team that includes three external sales professionals, three internal sales professionals who are specifically focused on advisor channels, and one individual for 401(k) services.
Clark says, "Josh is an experienced, consultative sales professional and already has a good reputation within the advisor community."
Prior to his career, Fudge graduated from Miami University in 2004, where he studied Business Management. Prior to his position at RBC, he held positions at WHV Investments, SteelPath Advisors/OppenheimerFunds, and Janus Capital Group.
Prior to Shelton, Barnes held various marketing roles including head of marketing at Five Ten Capital and director of marketing at AXA Rosenberg and Janus Capital Group. He was also a senior vice president at Neuberger Berman.
