Recently,
Paula Melo Doroff left her position as director and external wholesaler at
BlackRock. She was based out of Minneapolis.
A spokesperson from BlackRock did not return a call for comment.
Doroff
states that BlackRock is "the greatest company" she's worked with. Yet Doroff, who has spent the past two years becoming a certified professional coach, hopes to continue down that path going forward. She tells
MFWire that it "will be about developments and coaching of employees, helping them become better versions of themselves."
Doroff spoke of potentially starting her own coaching business, or "joining an organization like BlackRock" in her desired capacity.
Despite officially leaving the firm on June 30, Doroff is currently leading missionary trips through an initiative she helped start called
BlackRock Gives. She tells
MFWire that she wants to "follow through [her] commitment" by leading this summer's missionary trips to Mexico and two subsequent trips in October.
Prior to her time at BlackRock, Doroff served as VP of investment management at both Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs.
