On Friday the regulatory agency confirmed that Joseph is leaving. Joseph serves as head of investment adviser and investment company examination in the SEC's New York regional office and has worked with the agency for 21 years.

Promoted: Drew Wilson

On Thursday the Cobleskill, New York-based firm revealed the appointment of Wilson as co-PM of the FAM Value Fund, alongside Fenimore founder and chairman Tom Putnam and chief investment officer John Fox.

Promoted: Brian Schaffer

On Wednesday the New York City-based PR firm unveiled the promotion of Schaffer to managing director. He leads the agency's investor relations practice.

Hired: Damon Joyner

On Wednesday the Holbrook, New York-based independent broker-dealer confirmed the hiring of Joyner as chief financial officer.

Hired: Reinhard Koester

On Wednesday the New York City-based global investment bank confirmed the hiring of Koester as managing director and co-head of its financial institutions group. He previously served as co-head of specialty finance at Barclays Capital.

Hired: Britton Smith

On Wednesday HighMark parent MUFG Union Bank confirmed that Smith is joining in Portland, Oregon as a vice president and senior PM for the RIA and mutual fund subadvisor.

Promoted: Trey Parker

On Wednesday the Dallas-based liquid alternatives shop confirmed Parker's promotion to co-chief investment officer, alongside co-founder Mark Okada.

Hired: Jo Ann Quinif

On Tuesday the Columbus, Ohio-based mutual fund shop confirmed the hiring of Quinif as managing director and head of institutional sales, reporting to Lisa Wesolek, chief operating officer and head of distribution.
