WisdomTree's
Christina Cryer and UBS'
Susan Small have been named the president and vice president, respectively, of Women Investment Professionals (
WIP), a Chicago based not-for-profit organization for women in the institutional investment management industry. Outgoing president
Bonnie Stanfield will complete her two-year term this month.
Cryer, head of U.S. consultant relations for

Small, head of institutional client coverage for the Americas at
UBS Asset Management, tells
MFWire that in addition to general organizational duties, she is "planning for a members only service which features a panel discussion around a theme and is released quarterly." WIP, founded in 1996, "is very education oriented. In addition to networking [WIP] offers very substantial informational sessions and events focused on key topics in the industry," says Small. Small has over 25 years of experience in the institutional asset management industry.
Bonnie Stanfield, outgoing WIP president and director of consultant relations at
Putnam Investments states, "I've worked closely with Christina and Susan over the last two years and I'm thrilled to see them stepping forward to lead this great organization, which now represents 325 women in the institutional asset management industry."
Cryer states, "I'm honored to serve as WIP's president and look forward to continuing our solid tradition of education, networking and mentoring to help women advance in their professional careers and make meaningful contributions to our industry."
