Christopher Donahue just picked
Federated's [
profile] next sales chief from within the company's own ranks.

confirms that
Tom Territ, president of
Federated Securities Corp., will retire next quarter.
Paul Uhlman, executive vice president overseeing key accounts and retirement and insurance specialists, will take Territ's place. Uhlman will report directly to Donahue, president and CEO of all of Federated.
Federated Securities Corp. includes about 200 people and is Federated Investors' U.S. distribution arm. Publicly-traded Federated is based in Pittsburgh and had $369.7 billion in AUM as of March 31.
Territ first joined Federated in 1983. Uhlman started at Federated in 1990 as a client service administrator, and for his "entire career" he has worked with Territ.

"I don't envision big changes," after he takes the reins, Uhlman adds.
Uhlman is an alumnus of the University of Pittsburgh and of Columbia.
