David Poppe and his team are about to face the
Valeant music, in person. And that's a rare thing for fundsters.

Today in New York City the
Ruane Cunniff and Goldfarb [
profile] team will hold their annual investor day for their flagship, $5.1-billion
Sequoia Fund. Daisy Maxey of the
Wall Street Journal highlights Sequoia's investor day.
This will be Sequoia's first investor day since
Bob Goldfarb retired and handed the CEO reins to Poppe after Valeant's woes hit Sequoia hard. RCF, along with Baron and Weitz, is one of the few fund firms that does investor days for individual investors, and the
WSJ says that RCF has done so since the 1980s.
