Could the next mayor of Beantown be a fundster?
| John Hailer Natixis Global Asset Management President, Chief Executive Officer of the Americas and Asia | |
Attracta Mooney of the
Financial Times interviews John Hailer, CEO of
Natixis Global Asset Management [
profile] in the Americas and Asia and global head of distribution, and tries to address "the repeated rumours that he will follow in his father's footsteps and embark on a career in politics," specifically the rumors that "Hailer has considered running for mayor of Boston."
"My father was a city councillor and state representative, which immediately means that I must have political aspirations, which I don't," Hailer tells the
FT.
"Other than proclaiming his love for the current mayor, Marty Walsh, Mr Hailer does not say much more," the
FT writes.
The profile covers a variety of other topics, including a subject that Hailer thinks calls for more regulation: closet indexing.
