An ETF startup is rebranding itself, as well its its index and its corresponding ETF.

Travis Briggs, CEO of ROBO-STOX, confirms that the Dallas-based boutique is becoming ROBO Global [profile]. And today its ROBO-STOX Global Robotics and Automation Index ETF becomes the ROBO Global Robotics and Automation Index ETF, with its underlying index undergoing a similar name change.

The robotics-focused ETF shop has also launched a new website, ROBOGlobal.com.

"The name change really just reflects our expansion globally," Briggs tells MFWire, noting that the shop already has offices in the UK.
