The CEO of a Georgia-based ETF strategist just anointed his successor.
Tim Chapman -- co-founder, chairman, and CEO of
Stadion Money Management [

confirms that on April 1
Jud Doherty will take over as CEO of the Watkinsville-based shop. Chapman will stay on as executive chairman.
A 14-year Stadion veteran, Doherty will continue to serve as president, too, a title he has had since 2007. Chapman praises Doherty as "a proven leader [who] has capably led the day-to-day management of Stadion for the last 8 years."
"Jud is a great person," Chapman states. "Under his leadership, Stadion will continue to operate with integrity, transparency, and unwavering commitment to financial advisors who trust Stadion with their clients' serious money."
Stadion, which dates back to 1993, worked with $5.1 billion as of December 31, 2014. It offers the Stadion family of mutual funds as a managed account product used as a qualified default investment alternative (QDIA) inside 401(k) plans.
