The alternatives team at
Goldman Sachs has expanded.
Nicole Parker, formerly director of national accounts at
Hatteras, has joined Goldman to serve as a vice president in alternative investments.
Parker had served at Hatteras for ten years. Before that, she was director of marketing at
CAPTRUST, and before that, director of research communications at
Thornburg Investment Management. Before that, she was a business consultant at
State Street.
Goldman has been on a hiring tear recently. On the alts side, the firm lured away alternatives guru
Nadia Papagiannis from
Morningstar to serve as director of alts research in
January.
More generally, Goldman hired away veteran fund journalist Brendan Conway from his position as columnist at
Barrons in August.
