James J. Ryan, former managing director and national accounts director in the RIA and independent channels for
Invesco, has a new gig.
Ryan, who had worked at Invesco from 2010 to 2013, is now head of national accounts at
Behringer Investments.
While at Invesco, Ryan directed channel sales and distribution strategies to such firms as Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Raymond James, TD Ameritrade, and AIG Advisor Group.
Before that, Ryan served for 14 years as managing director and director of national accounts at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. In this position, he reportedly directed and established a distribution footprint that ran across numerous distribution channels and represented more than 3,000 selling agreements.
From 1982 to 1996, Mr. Ryan was senior vice president of national accounts at Van Kampen Investments.
