Ziegler Companies, sponsor of the North Track Funds, has tapped a new head for its Investment Services Group from
Nomura Asset Management.
David G. Stoeffel takes over the unit and reports to
John J. Mulherin, president and CEO of the broker-dealer. He takes the title of senior managing director and group head and has relocated to Milwaukee from New York City.
Nomura officials could not be reached for immediate comment on how and whether Stoeffel's duties will be filled. He held the title of senior vice president, director of mutual funds marketing and administration at Nomura Asset Management USA.
Stoeffel will oversee both Ziegler's Asset Management Group and North Track Funds. His primary focus will be on improving the Milwaukee-based firms asset gathering strategies, said Mulherin.
"In my new role, I plan to build on the firm's core capabilities and specialized position in the marketplace," added Stoeffel.
Before joining Nomura Asset Management, Stoeffel held senior posts at Brinson Funds, Prudential Investments and Smith Barney. He is also a native of the Milwaukee area.
