A mutual fund giant recently confirmed a new promotion in the public relations department!

MFWire has learned that, effective this month, Brian Lewbart is the group manager of corporate public relations and communications at the Baltimore, Maryland-based T. Rowe Price, according to his LinkedIn page.

Lewbart declined to comment for the story.

Prior to starting his new position, Lewbart served as senior manager of public relations at T. Rowe Price.  

Correction: A prior version of this story's headline mischaracterized Lewbart's new position. He is now group manager of corporate public relations and communications.
