An eight-year
LPL veteran is taking over investment due diligence after the prior chief's departure.
Last month
MFWire broke the news that
John Guthery and
Chris Arthur were both moving on from the San Diego-based broker-dealer. Guther had served as senior vice president and head of due-diligence and manager research, while Arthur was a portfolio strategist. Now
MFWire has learned that LPL's own
Kirby Horan-Adams is picking up where Guthery left off.
LPL spokesman Tony Vignieri confirms that Horan-Adams, senior vice president and director of research, is taking on Guthery's old duties. She oversees a 24-person team that handles alternative investment research, due diligence, new product approvals, portfolio analytics, portfolio management capabilities and solutions for clients, and quantitative analysis. That team includes both legacy LPL research analysts and former Fortigent research team members. (LPL
bought Fortigent two years ago.)
Horan-Adams has been with LPL since 2006. She reports to
Burt White, managing director of research.
