The adventures of
Tom Winnick continue.
The veteran distribution executive, who held stints as president and managing director at
DWS Distributors as well as executive vice president at
Dreyfus, has been working for the past five months as a managing director at
OppenheimerFunds.
Winnick had been featured in a number of
MFWire stories throughout his varied career.
He had worked for nine years at
Dreyfus, from 1993 to 2002, where he attained the title of executive vice president. He then moved onto
DWS Distributors, where he worked for nearly seven years, with more than four of them as president and managing director.
He then left DWS to join
RiverPark Advisors in October 2009, where
he served as partner in charge of marketing and distribution.
He then joined
Dreman Value Management in June 2010, where
he served as managing director of marketing. RiverPark at the time had
replaced him with Baron Funds veteran Matt Kelly.
In September 2010,
David Dreman stepped down from his role as co-CIO at Dreman.
In January 2013, Winnick joined
Franklin Square Capital Partners, leaving that firm to join OpFunds in November of that year.
