Artisan Partners has renewed its lease for its headquarters in downtown Milwaukee, which could possibly expand, according to the
Journal Sentinel.
The newspaper reports that Artisan, which
went public in March, signed a new lease for roughly 82,700 square feet at 875 E. Wisconsin Ave. The firm had been an anchor tenant at the building since its completion in 2003, according to the newspaper.
The building's ownership, Wangard Advisors, is considering an expansion to the eight-story building, on its nearby three-level parking structure, which could accommodate any future growth needs for Artisan, according to the newspaper.
The
Journal Sentinel also notes that the Milwaukee office serves as the base for "Artisan Partners Growth Team, one of the firm's five autonomous investment teams; the firm's U.S. trading desk; a large part of its distribution and client service team; and most of its marketing and communications, information technology, legal and compliance, trade operations, corporate finance, accounting and human capital professionals."
