BlackRock's iShares [
profile] has filed to launch four allocation ETFs composed of portfolios built out of the firm's
iShares Core suite of ten equity and fixed income ETFs.
According to the
SEC filing, the four new products will be:
iShares Core Allocation Conservative ETF
iShares Core Allocation Moderate ETF
iShares Core Allocation Moderate Growth ETF
iShares Core Allocation Growth ETF
The underlying ETFs for these four portfolios are the iShares Core suite of 10 ETFs launched in October 2012.
They include:
iShares Core Long-Term U.S. Bond ETF
iShares Core MSCI EAFE ETF
iShares Core MSCI Emerging Markets ETF
iShares Core MSCI Total International Stock ETF
iShares Core S&P 500 ETF
iShares Core S&P Mid-Cap ETF
iShares Core S&P Small-Cap ETF
iShares Core S&P Total U.S. Stock Market ETF
iShares Core Short-Term U.S. Bond ETF, and
iShares Core Total U.S. Bond Market ETF.
The four allocation ETFs are just the latest step in iShare's ongoing efforts to encourage investors and their advisors to build risk-customized portfolios utilizing iShares' core ETFs.
Over the court of the past year, the Core Series has grown to nearly $100 billion in AUM.
