kasina Hires an Exec from NYL

The consulting firm kasina has hired Bob Fenster as product manager, in response to growing demand for its productivity benchmarking and Advisor Insights services. The new hire will help grow kasina's benchmarking offerings and will allow kasina's clients to better understand their National Account Teams, wholesaler productivity, competitors, and advisors, according to the company.

Fenster was previously a managing director at New York Life Investment Management In that role he was responsible for Strategy & Solutions within NYL Investments Technology, after having previously been responsible for application development and e-commerce groups.

Before that, he held positions as vice president and chief information officer of New York Life Asset Management, vice president in charge of Operations and Client Services, including New Business Processing, Systems, Accounting, and Sales in the Pension Department.

New Hire Expands kasina’s Benchmarking and Advisor Insights Services

Bob Fenster joins kasina’s team as Product Manager

In response to growing demand for its productivity benchmarking and Advisor Insights services, kasina is hiring Bob Fenster as Product Manager. Bob’s industry experience will help grow kasina’s benchmarking offerings and will allow kasina’s clients to better understand their National Account Teams, wholesaler productivity, competitors, and advisors.

Asset managers and insurers rely on kasina’s benchmarking products to understand how their wholesalers, national accounts teams, and digital initiatives compare to industry peers. “We wanted to add an executive that has a deep understanding of the changing industry landscape,” says Steven Miyao, kasina’s CEO. “Bob will be responsible for growing our benchmarking offering and presenting them in a digital and interactive interface, ensuring that our clients get the most timely and relevant data.”

Mr. Fenster joins kasina with over 30 years of experience working in the financial services industry. He has extensive experience in building data warehouses, IT business applications, managing client relationships, and development of business and IT strategies.

Bob Fenster was most recently a Managing Director of the New York Life Investment Management, LLC. In that role he was responsible for Strategy & Solutions within NYL Investments Technology, after having previously been responsible for application development and e-commerce groups. Prior to these positions, he has held positions as Vice President and Chief Information Officer of New York Life Asset Management, Vice President in charge of Operations and Client Services, including New Business Processing, Systems, Accounting, and Sales in the Pension Department. He is also currently a member of the Board of Directors for the National Investment Company Service Association.
