Mutual fund companies are never going to have as many Twitter followers as Lady Gaga, or get as many YouTube views as Justin Bieber.
But that doesn't mean fund companies aren't slowly wading in to the social media pool. In an
article from today's
Wall Street Journal, reporter Michael Pollock shows how some shops are using video to showcase their companies.
For instance, he writes,
Wasatch Advisors [
profile] gave their PMs cameras when they visited businesses in developing countries, and had the footage edited together.
Vanguard has a video where they ask children questions about finance.
