Brookfield Investment Management [see profile] is making its foray into the mutual fund business. The New York-based subsidiary of alternative asset manager Brookfield Asset Management plans to launch four funds on December 1.

The funds -- Brookfield Global Listed Real Estate Fund, Brookfield Global Listed Infrastructure Fund, Brookfield Global High Yield Fund and Brookfield High Yield Fund -- come in A, C, Y and I shares.
