Guggenheim Funds and
BlackRock alum
Steve Baffico's newly launched firm continues to attract media attention. Last Friday,
Forbes picked up on the news about Baffico's
Four Wood Capital Partners, an investment platform focused on capital preservation and income distribution solutions.
Baffico plans to acquire and partner with boutique asset managers across asset classes such as alternatives, private equity, real estate, and traditional equity and fixed income. He is looking at managers with AUM between $15 million and several hundred million dollars.
"One of the most important things I learned at
BlackRock and from Larry Fink is that credibility is your most valuable asset," Baffico told Forbes'
Halah Touryalai. "You only go to clients when you're ready."
The MFWire covered Four Wood's launch Monday last week.
