San Antonio, Texas-based firm was thinking of launching an absolute return fund. This week, the fund was born.

and our significant in-house experience in the natural resources space, we believe we are well qualified to provide value to investors through the Frost Natural Resources Fund," Stringfellow
said in a press release on Tuesday.
Frost, which entered the mutual fund business in 2008, has 25 funds in its lineup.
