Seven mutual fund industry insiders landed on Forbes' list of the 400 Richest People in America.

Abby Johnson Fidelity Investments President of Personal, Workplace and Institutional Services

Fidelity scion Abby Johnson is the 29th richest person in the country, with a net worth of $11.7 billion. Her father Ned is No. 44 with $6.5 billion.

Moving on to the West Coast Johnsons, Rupert Johnson of Franklin Resources placed 69th with $4.5 billion and his brother Charles landed on the 72nd spot with $4.4 billion.

Pimco's Bill Gross is No. 188 with $2.2 billion. Ron Baron is No. 293 ($1.5 billion) and Charles Brandes is No. 331 ($1.3 billion).
