Boston University School of Management has named
Scott Stewart, a former fund manager at
Fidelity, as faculty director of its
Master of Science in Investment Management (MSIM) program. Stewart has been with BU since 2001, and recently served as an executive-in-residence in the School of Management's finance and economics department.
The advisory board for the program consists of executives from a cross-section of the finance and investment industry.

Louis E. Lataif, dean of BU's School of Management, in a release.

The program trains students in leading-edge theory and the practice of investment management. It covers risk management, derivatives, fixed income securities, and equity analysis. Students are able to earn the degree in less than two years.
