Russell Investments [see profile] took its employees and their families and friends to the Mariners-Phillies game on June 18 as part of the Seattle-based company's 75th anniversary celebration. Russell CEO
Andrew Doman threw the first pitch.
"We had just over 1,500 associates and guests in attendance at the game," according to Russell spokeswoman Jordan McKerney. Of that number, about 500 were Russell associates.
The Mariners beat the Phillies, 4-2.
Russell employees who went to the game were given "Russell 75" t-shirts.
Russell has a total of 900 employees working at its Seattle headquarters. The company also has a slew of other activities planned for staffers in other locations.
