More than 400 mutual fund and other financial services executives turned out last Thursday at the Pinehills Golf Club and Indian Pond Country Club in Massachusetts for
Expect Miracles Foundation's (formerly known
as Mutual Funds Against Cancer) annual
East Coast Classic. The event raised more than $1 million.

Proceeds benefit cancer patient care initiatives across the country and cancer research at the Belfer Institute for Applied Cancer Science at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
The foundation also hosted its third annual Kids Golf Clinic, attended by more than 25 children and teenagers who are fighting cancer, in remission, or have a family member with cancer. PGA professional Jim Tennant taught the kids how to putt and drive, with
Wally the Green Monster showing up to offer encouragement.
The Expect Miracles Foundation will host its
West Coast Classic in Pimco's home city of Newport Beach, California on September 19. The event will be held at The Resort at Pelican Hill.
