Andrew Wilson Fenimore Asset Management Research Analyst

Fenimore Asset Management, which runs the FAM Funds [see profile], has hired Andrew Wilson as a research analyst. Wilson joined the Cobleskill, New York-based mutual fund firm in March and reports to director of research John Fox.

Wilson replaces a long-time analyst who left the firm to relocate to another state, according to marketing director Frank Privitera. Prior to joining Fenimore, Wilson spent 15 years as a partner, equity analyst and portfolio manager at Martin Caiptal Management in Elkhart, Indiana. Before that, he worked at Watson Wyatt Worldwide.

FAM Funds has a total of seven research analysts, including Fox.

Fenimore offers two mutual funds, FAM Value Fund and FAM Equity-Income Fund.
