Neuberger Berman co-founder Roy Neuberger is celebrating his 107th birthday today.

"He has expressed great enthusiasm at our renewed status as an independent, employee-controlled firm and we are confident that Neuberger Berman's continued success is one of the best birthday cards he could ever receive," read an internal memo from Jeff Bolton and Marvin Schwartz, managing directors in Neuberger's private asset management business.

Neuberger was born on July 21, 1903 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He founded Neuberger Berman with Robert Berman in 1939.
